October 14, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Chengdu is world-famous for its pandas and spicy food – but the capital of Sichuan Province has another specialty: concentrated industrial power.
With over 20 million inhabitants and a strong base in the fields of electronics, mechanical engineering, biopharmaceuticals, and new energies, Chengdu is now one of the most important economic engines in Central China. Numerous German companies such as Siemens, BMW, Balluff, and Max Bögl have established production facilities and service centers here.
Particular focus: the "Chengdu Made" strategy, which promotes the export of cutting-edge industrial products, and the "Liyuan Manyuan" initiative, which positions Chengdu as an attractive location for modern industries.
As part of the "Smart & Spicy – Industrial Power Made in Chengdu" event, representatives of the city government will present Chengdu's current industrial policy. In addition, companies from Germany and the People's Republic will share their experiences of collaboration.
The event will take place on October 14 at 4:00 p.m. (doors open at 3:30 p.m.) at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, Promenadeplatz 2–6, 80333 Munich.
Participation is free of charge, but we ask that you register by October 10. The event will be held in German and Chinese with simultaneous translation.
Take the opportunity to learn about Chengdu's smart innovation system and expand your network in the German-Chinese community!
We look forward to your participation!
