Yi Qi Project Members Visit FDTech – Advancing Societal Cooperation (20 June 2024)

On June 20, 2024, Prof. Schumann, Professor of Business Information Systems at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences, visited FDTech GmbH (hereinafter "FDTech") in Chemnitz. As a key member of the Yi Qi project, Prof. Schumann focused his visit to FDTech on the in-depth exchange and potential for further cooperation between Yi Qi and Saxon industry. The co-founders of FDTech, led by Marcus Wilsdorf and his team, organized an open meeting at the company's headquarters.

After a welcome and introduction, Mr. Wilsdorf presented FDTech's core areas of expertise in IT, mathematics, cognitive psychology, and engineering. The discussion centered on how the internationally positioned company, with employees from 17 nations, succeeds in fostering curiosity and diversity within its team.

Following the presentation of the goals and vision of the Yi Qi project, the focus of the meeting was on sharing experiences and best practices in cooperation with China.

At the end of the meeting, opportunities for further developing and deepening the cooperation were summarized.
